Fujifilm X-T5 to be Announced with 40MP Non-Stacked Sensor

According to the latest rumors from Fujirumors, Fujifilm will announce the new Fujifilm X-T5, featuring   a 40MP non-stacked sensor.

The new Fujifilm X-T5 is expected to be equipped with the same 40-megapixel non-stacked sensor used in Fujifilm X-H2 HR. Fujifilm has no plans to release a version of the X-T5 with a stacked sensor, so the X-T5S will not appear.

If you want a single-lens reflex-style high-end camera with a stacked sensor, waiting for the X-T5S is a waste of time, so you might want to buy the X-H2S.

Earlier, DPReview predicted that Fujifilm X-T5 might have the same 40-megapixel sensor as the X-H2. In the future, Fujifilm is wondering whether 40 million pixel non-stacked sensors will be used in a wide range of models.
